Office365 List

Office365 has a distribution list system that allows users/members/outside to email a group of people by using one email address.
NOTE: This is domain wide and usable by anyone as opposed to a list created in your outlook or under “People” in OWA.


Using the List

Someone in the nebrwesleyan.edu domain or if selected outside also emails the distribution list @nebrwesleyan.edu

Managing the List

  • In the bar that opens click on “Mail”

  • Options will open on the left hand side. It will default to mail so click on “General”.

  • Click on “Distribution groups” under “General”.
  • On this page you will see Distribution Lists/Groups you belong too and own. NOTE: If the list was created with “Hide this group from address lists” it will not show up at all.

  • Click on the group under “Distribution groups I own” that you want to edit and then click the pencil.
  • A new window will popup so you can manage the Distribution List/Group
Adding or removing members
  • To add or remove owners click on “ownership” on the left hand side.
  • Use the plus sign to add owners through a search in the window that pops up.
  • Use the minus to remove owners by clicking on their name then clicking on the minus sign.

  • To add or remove members click on “membership on the left hand side.
  • Use the plus sign to add members through a search in the window that pops up.
  • Use the minus to remove members by clicking on their name then clicking on the minus sign.
